fun on the beach...

We spent the last few days playing on the beach in San Francisco. There is a place called Chrissy Fields where you can get a gorgeous view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We took our dogs there Tink and Miami and let them play in the ocean. It is such a blast to live so close to the city! Jacob and i have found one of our very fave. things in the world to do is head to one of the many beaches and spend some time walking around and enjoying the views:) Definately something we didnt get to do growing up in Alaska, well at least not on sandy beaches, and for sure not in March! Hanging out on the beach was a wonderful way to spend our weekend!

Jacob with Tink, our mastiff/great pyranees and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.
This is our whole little family minus the kitty. Jacob and I in front of the bridge with Tink and Miami. It was so hard to get the girls to hold still long enough to take a picture, Miami was too excited to be out running around and diving in the ocean.

It was a beautiful 71 degrees today in the bay area. Its something that we are still getting used to being out in t shirts and shorts in March! As you can see i have spend the whole winter with my leg very covered up so i am very very white right now:)

Tink had a lot of fun on the beach running around, with her ears flopping in the wind:) She was scared of the water though and she wouldnt go in at all. Miami on the other hand wouldnt stay out of the water!

This is me with the girls in front of the beautiful city of San Francisco. The big gold building in the background is the fine arts exploratorium.

A view of the golden gate bridge on the non San Fran side. What a gorgeous sight!

This is a view of the city at one of the look outs after you cross the bridge on the way back to our house in Vallejo. The city is only about thirty minutes from our house and we try to get there as often as possible!

The girls were exhausted after their two hours of running around on the sand and playing in the ocean. They spent the ride home passed out in the back of the Santa Fe.
